A common day trip From Bodhgaya(A) for Buddhist pilgrims is the Mahakala Caves(B), Rajgir(C) (vultures peak) and Nalanda(D) day trip. If you include all three places then you will be looking at around 4 hours driving time, though it is also possible to do the Mahakala Caves as a separate trip as they are much closer to bodhgaya.
